Police and Crime Commissioner Joins Street Angels Through The Night in Woking

David Munro (pictured), Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey, recently joined the teams of Woking Street Angels during what was generally agreed to be the wettest Woking night the volunteers had ever known.  Undeterred, he stayed out through the night and experienced the Street Angels in action helping those in need in our town centre.

Afterwards, David Munro said: “It was a privilege to spend the evening seeing first-hand the fantastic job the Street Angels do to provide help to those enjoying a night out in Woking.

“I would like to thank all the volunteers for the vital role they play in making our town centres safer places to be, which is one the key priorities in my Police and Crime Plan.”
